World Environment Day was celebrated at Venkatadri Primary and High School,Srinivaspur,on Thursday. On this occasion various activities such as planting saplings and competitions were held. Presidentof Gyan Vedant Foundation(R),Mangaluru, Mr.Balakrishna Shetty presided over the function and inspired the students to work collectively for the protection of Earth and emphasised on the need to build a greener world. School Head Mistress said the objective of celebrating Environment Day was to make younger generation more sensitive towards environmental protection in the presence of entire venkatadri students and teachers.
