On the occasion of World No-Tobacco Day on 31 May 2019,’Venkatadri Primary And High School Managed By Gyan Vedant Foundation, Mangaluru’ organized a program and conducted activities like Painting, Paper Cutting, Drama, Speech etc, under the theme “No-Tobacco” to promote a tobacco-free lifestyle in the society. The chief guest of the day was Mrs.Renuka,BEO Officer, Srinivaspur, Kolar. The guest of honor exhorted the students to become a good citizen of India and mentioned ’Venkatadri Primary And High School ‘ as the first school in Srinivaspur who conducted such events in school on the occasion of “World No-Tobacco Day “ for students to encourage them not only in studies but also in other activities. Mr.Subramanya (BEO Officer), Mrs.Adilaxmi (BEO Member), Y.V.Narasimhamurthy (Chairman,Venkatadri Group Of Institutions) and Mrs.Vinutha Jogi (Headmistress,Venkatadri Primary and High School Managed By Gyan Vedant Foundation, Mangaluru) were also present.
